I first met Sunshine over a decade ago, back when I was spinning on the pole and she was leading yoga classes. Since then, our paths have crossed many times through calisthenics events, acro communities, and fitness classes. Sunshine has evolved into a martial arts enthusiast, and her passion for sharing her yoga practice has only grown. She continues to inspire others with her energy, dedication, and love for movement.
YogaSlackers Sam Salwei and Raquel Hernández are lovers of movement. Limitations are a foreign concept to this teaching duo, as they spend their time traveling the world and fulfilling their dreams of being true modern-day nomads. What makes this couple truly exceptional is their joint ability to spark in their students the same passion that they share for movement, conscious communication, and attention to detail. Together, they create a playful, supportive, disciplined, and energetic environment in which learning comes naturally, and show their students that there is no limit to what they can achieve with a positive attitude and dedication. In fact, after taking enough of Sam and Raquel’s classes, “I can’t” may become as foreign of a concept to you as it is for the YogaSlackers.

Just like you, I am a little bit of everything I’ve encountered in life. My ethos is simple: lead with heart and do everything with love. My intention is to bring people together to share, learn, and be part of the experiences we create together. I founded @actacrobatics, where I teach and co-teach acrobatics-related skills such as handstands and partner acro, and I organize workshops and events, including acro camps and retreats. I founded and co-organized Thailand Acro Fest in 2023, and now I’m excited to bring you the first-ever Bangkok Handstand Festival to the community.
